Louis Tomlinson, of One Direction, brought his sold out world tour to Houston last night and wow did it leave everyone amazed.

The show was originally scheduled for 2020, but was later rescheduled to 2021 and lastly to 2022 due to the pandemic. Fans lined up early in the morning to see their favorite artist. I gave them multiple props because they endured the cold rainy weather in Houston. The line wrapped around multiple blocks around the venue, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the line so long, but it shows the dedication that they had to get as close as possible to the British singer.

As soon as doors opened, fans sped walk as fast as possible to try and get to the barricade to get close to the artist. Once they secured their spots, everyone screamed in excitement feeling relieved that they got what they wanted. They took many photos amongst themselves showing off that they accomplished their goal. The show opened with the band “Sun Room”, a surf rock band based out of California. The crowd really vibed with their music and you could see everyone dancing along. The band thanked Louis for bringing them on tour and ended their set, it was finally Tomlinsons turn to perform.

Louis started his set with “We Made It”. As soon as he started singing the fans immediately screamed and cheered the lyrics back to him. I think it was a great song to start the show with because after 2 years of waiting for the show, we all finally made it to the same room to watch the singer perform. The British singer continued his set by performing “Drag Me Down” a hit song from One Directions “Made in The A.M.” album. The crowd was so incredibly loud during this song, many of the attendees grew up with the band and hearing the singer play something from years ago just hyped them up much more.

After a few songs Louis took a break to talk to the fans. He thanked everyone for attending the show and constantly reminded them how much he loved them. It’s apparent that the fans are very important to the singer. He then continued to sing more songs, such as one of my personal favorites “Always You”, a cover of Catfish and the Bottlemens “7” and songs from his debut album “Walls”.

There were a few times during the set where Tomlinson stopped the show due to concerns with possibly injured fans. He made sure that the band stopped, got security to the area that was needed and made sure everyone was 100% okay before he started the show again. This shows how much he cares for his fans and that he’s willing to do his best to make sure that they are safe. As the show came to an end he performed a few more songs from One Direction albums such as “Little Black Dress” and “Through The Dark”, it’s amazing how loud the fans were during these songs. Tomlison asked for a group photo and had everyone pose behind him to remember the moment. The show ended with “Kill My Mind”, he told everyone to sing, jump and dance as hard as they could. It was such a memorable show, I definitely can’t wait to see him again.

Below are some of the cities that the singer is going to attend and their requirements. Please make sure you attend a show, you will not regret it!
