There is one thing in particular that always intrigues me about bands which is their style. Now, I don not meant their style as in looks I mean their style of playing. I mean think about it? Three, four, or five people come together from different backgrounds and make a unique sound that is flexible enough to evolve over time. Music is much more complex than we give it credit for. It is something almost revolutionary. The artist is capable of going beyond their persona and their problems and they are really putting it all out- all on the line. Working in groups is already hard enough…. imagine creating and entire album with four other people and the opinion of the producer… tough enough for ya? Yet, bands such as Lemuria are able to do this and create content that relates in so many ways to all sorts of people. It was really cool to speak to the musicians behind the music that fills your room one gloomy Saturday night. That make your heart pump faster and electrify your hours of loud singing in the car.
