Music lovers came out in numbers to Emo’s in Austin to watch folk-soul duo Overcoats open for Tennis. Overcoats, performed hits “23,” “Father,” “Walk On,” “The Fog,” and “Smaller than my Mother.” Indie pop band, Tennis, took to the stage next in the embodiment of 70’s fashion featuring singer and keyboardist, Alaina Moore, in bell bottoms, a silk shirt, and her notorious curly locks. Tennis performed songs such as “No Exit,” “My Emotions are Blinding,” “Never Work for Free,” “Ladies Don’t Play Guitar,” and “Modern Woman.” The music took you back to an era of soulful sounds that the audience couldn’t help but sway to.
