PIQNIQ music fest that takes place in Chicago never fails to impress. Bands like Catfish and The Bottlemen, Cage The Elephant, The Lumineers, Young The Giant, and more have grazed the stages of the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater. This year did not fall short. Some your favorite alternative rock bands took over Chicago. Canadian rock band Sum 41 took the stage at around four in the afternoon- and the crowd was wicked excited. Joywave the iconic indie rock band from Rochester, NY had an earlier set that left the crowd of festival goers super energetic. They were not disappointed and the energy only went up as one of our favorite acts took the stage the incredible singer and songwriter from Wilmette, Illinois- known as K. Flay. She was amazing and the festival crowd seemed to really enjoy her set. Over all the festival was rad, fun, exciting, and filled with awesome tunes from amazing artist! Thank 101. WKQX for bringing awesome artist out another year! Check out some more photos from that day shot by Jennifer Machuca.
