LIGHTS & PVRIS 21

The alternative rock band from Lowell, Massachusetts known as PVRIS played an electric set at the grungy venue in Austin, TX known as Emo’s. They set the mood with their mysterious songs and moody on stage lighting. The night started off strong as they first opened with a crowd a favorite: “Heaven” from their album All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell released April of this year. The crowd was hooked with the bands performance from start to end. They sang along to every song and rocked out all night. Front woman Lyndsey Gunnulfsen did a great job in keeping the crowd on edge. She has this mysterious and electric vibe on stage it is pretty cool to see the audience completely fall in love with it. During their fourteen song set she got behind the drum kit and played an incredible solo that made the crowd go mad. It was so cool to see how empowering she truly is on stage. The rest of the band did not fall flat on their performance. They carried the music so well and really captured what true live rock and roll is like. I highly recommend you check out PVRIS when they stop at a city near you. For now you can enjoy our photos from that nights also featuring the supporting act LIGHTS.
