Sundara Karma released their album Youth Is Only Ever Fun in Retrospect at the beginning of this year. It is truly everything a good indie /alternative rock album of the 21 century should be. It is refreshing to hear music that is well worked on while being spontaneous in every way. The record takes you for a ride with tunes including their smash hits “She Said” and “A Young Understanidng.” There is something special about bands that utilize their instruments and vocal abilities to create solid works of music. The band Sundara Karma is the product of lead vocalist and guitarist Oscar “Lulu” Pollock, lead guitarist Ally Baty, bassist Dom Cordell, and drummer Haydn Evans. With this being their first released album they have set the bar high. There is something awesome whenever you find a great record that you can listen to with your friends at home. It is even more exciting to find good live music, but it is even greater to find a band that can achieve both.

The band from Reading, Berkshire in England is currently touring the US for a run of dates on Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement Tour presented by SiriusXM and Live Nation alongside MISSIO, Coast Modern and 888.
