The 1975, the four-piece British indie band, have just begun their North American 2017 tour. They’ve been busy touring to promote their latest album ‘I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it.’ Quite a long title, isn’t it? The touring to promote the album began in Liverpool on November 9th, 2015. They toured quite a bit of the world and continued into 2016. The North American 2017 leg of the tour just began on April 9th in Mexico City, Mexico. Pale Waves will be the supporting act for the band. The tour features their signature bright colorful lights and so far, an amazing set list. They recently played ‘So Far (It’s Alright)’ and ‘Menswear.’ These two songs being played had my twitter timeline in a frenzy; The songs are well loved by many fans. No promises they’ll play it at your show, but I assume the set lists are going to be good all tour if they’re bringing back some old classics!

The merchandise table looks awesome as well! Buying certain merchandise could benefit an awesome project as well! It was announced the “Pride” related merchandise will be raising funds for the It Gets Better Project. The It Gets Better Project is working to make changes to make the world a safer place for LGBT youth and simply let them know, it will get better. They have received support from President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Ellen DeGeneres, Facebook, Google, Ke$ha, and more. Their song ‘Loving Someone’ was dedicated to the LGBT community after the Orlando shooting to show respect to the victims and their families. From then on, a pride flag was made the visual for the song at every show. I think that’s a pretty awesome idea. You can now buy your favorite bands merchandise and help fund a lovely project! There are of course other super cute items available for purchase, some being sold exclusively only at shows. Whether you see them at a show of their own or at a festival, I know you’ll have a great time. Good luck on getting tickets!
