The Garden, the punk rock duo brought out the raw power to the crowd as the bodies started stage diving into teenage crowd as the music started. The Garden consist of twin brothers, Wyatt and Fletcher Shears, who have been dominating the Orange County music scene since 2011 and have been expanding their horizon and even now with their latest EP, U Want the Scoop? The Garden was also supported by Denton’s Pearl Earl, a female psych-rock band, who provided their fuzzy distorted tones and reverberated vocals. Fat Tony also helped the crowd get rowdy as DJed and performed his hits such as “BKNY.” The transit from southern rap to punk rock is somewhat unheard of but nevertheless it blended well. Once The Garden took the stage the crowd went berserk, the pit opened up, and the crowd surfing began. Eventually the intensity of the crowd made Wyatt’s eyewear fog up. The intensity of the angst-free crowd did not stop until The Garden left the stage, differently embedded in the memory of the attendees.
