White Reaper performed with Cold Fronts and Omicron J Trauma at Club Dada in Dallas. As the audience subtly modulated to the groovy vibe, White Reaper, a lively Kentuckian alternative garage punk band, performed live at Club Dada in Dallas, Texas on October 16th with openers Cold Fronts and Omicron J Trauma. White Reaper headlined the show in promotion of their second album “The World’s Best American Band” that was released through Polyvinyl Records in early April of this year.
Down to earth dissociative rock trio Omicron J Trauma were all smiles and serenity. The band’s light hearted self-expressionism was contagious and created a friendly and welcoming vibe that lasted the entire program. No matter the changes in the band’s line-up since Cold Fronts signed with Sire Records, an American record label that is owned by Warner Music Group and distributed by Warner Bros, the Philly-based indie rock band Cold Fronts still shined proudly while bearing its flaws as the band added to the evening’s music with a seemingly effortless showcasing of the perfections of their musical imperfections through a mixture of lo-fidelity sound. As the night winded down, a still sense of nostalgia lingered in the air as well as on the merch table where vinyls and cassette tape singles were available for purchase alongside additional memorabilia. The band members, if requested by a fan, were cheerfully willing to sign autographs at the end of the gig.
