5 Must See Acts at Float Fest 2018

A Giant Dog

A local Austin punk rock band that knows how to take the stage and give fans the performance they came for. They will be opening up for legendary punk rock band Jawbreaker one-week before Float Fest and are always a favorite around the Austin music scene. They also opened up for Jack White during his Texas dates of his tour. You will be getting hot and sweaty when this band takes the stage.

The Suffers

A classic American soul and rock and roll band from Houston, Texas always know how to get the crowd moving. They have appeared on The Daily show with Trevor Noah and Jimmy Kimmel Live in recent years. Their song “Gwan” was part of the Mr. Robot season 2 episode 6 soundtrack which then gained a lot of listeners for a catchy tune. The Suffers will have you singing and dancing along through their whole set.

Glass Animals

Glass Animals have performed at many major festivals recently including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Firefly and Bonnaroo amongst many others. They are currently overseas for a few festivals and will be ready to rock once they return to the United States. Still supporting their recent album How To Be A Human Being, you will be sure to hear all your favorite tunes when they take the stage at Float Fest.

Cashmere Cat

An Norwegian DJ, record producer and musician is definitely a must see act for Float Fest. He has worked with many major music artists such as Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, The Weeknd, and Major Lazer amongst many others. His recent work has been with Major Lazer and Tory Lanez on “Miss you.” Be prepared to hear a lot of familiar and popular hits when he takes the stage.

Snoop Dogg

Of course the godfather would be on this list. He is a must see act everywhere he performs. Get ready to get down and dirty with the Dogg himself as he performs all the fan favorites while getting a little high on stage with friends. We’re not sure if he’ll have some tricks up his sleeves, but being in Texas and with Lil Wayne and Bun B also performing at the festival, we don’t know what to expect.
