Game Of Thrones IMG_92348

Composer extrordinare, Ramin Djawadi and company stopped by The American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX for a night of unforgettable chivalry and drama filled songs. Djawadi an Emmy and Grammy nominated musician known for the music in Westworld, the upcoming Jack Ryan series on Amazon, and the incredible Game of Thrones came packed with surprise that made for a great night. Every composition tied to a scene had breathtaking graphics and visual effects. The screen told a story but the music made it come alive. Djawadi would stop right before every new song to set the scene and talk about aspects of what it took to compose for that particular part of the show. This event is every Game of Thrones ultimate fan dream. The choir mixed with the orchestra did not disappoint. Clear, crisp, magical, and radiating are the only ways I can think to describe their on stage performance.

There was a point in the show when a violinist ascended from the ground playing such beautiful melodies. Red sparkles exploded behind her illuminating the room. It was an unforgettable moment and the crowd was in shock. Djawadi also took the crowds breath away when he performed a killer guitar solo that accompanied the melody of the soft string instruments in the back. There were so many moments throughout the performance that made it purely epic. I highly recommend you check out when they stop in a city near you.
