The last night of Max Frost’s ‘The Gold Rush Tour’ began with a man named Alex Di Leo.  Walking onto the stage with an acoustic guitar in hand and a smile across his face, Alex soothed the crowd with warm indie-pop songs.  While the crowd did not seem to know too much about Alex, everyone was fixated on him, very much entranced by his music.  Highlights from his set included his newest single, “High,” as well as a Panic! at the Disco mashup of “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” and “High Hopes.”

For those who aren’t too familiar with Max Frost, he is a one-man show.  He plays the keyboard, the drums, the guitar, and sings.  In between all of this, Max was even able to find the time to apply hairspray to his signature hairstyle.  There is nothing he can’t do!  He played all of the old favorites, from 2013’s “Nice And Slow” to 2016’s “Adderall.”  Of course, since this was ‘The Gold Rush Tour,’ songs from that album were also performed, such as “Anxious,” “Slow Jamz,” and “Money Problems.”  Max wasn’t afraid to have fun with the crowd, mentioning that people were requesting songs that he already played and calling out the people who couldn’t properly clap along.  The energy in the room was just crazy fun and Max had to come out to do an encore after his set.  He played “Let Me Down Easy” and covered Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable” before closing with his smash-hit, “Good Morning.”  It was a phenomenal end to the tour.
