Dayton, OH-based rock-rap and Soundcloud rapper Jasiah, as well as Lake Worth, FL-based Soundcloud rapper $not are taking over the Soundcloud rap scene through providing their fans with lots of trap bangers, and raking up as many streams through a variety of platforms, including Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, and most importantly, Soundcloud. The two have touched heads before with their debut and most well-known collab track CASE 19. Before the hype became as big as possible, it had come to a halt when Jasiah signed a deal with Atlantic Records, and the original track replaced $not’s verse with the now-defamed and incarcerated, 6ix9ine, whose verse made it to Jasiah’s debut album, JASIAH I AM. Despite the hype and build-up for the album, the fans wanted the original collab track, in which Jasiah put on the album months later. Although $not does not have an album in the works, he has worked with a unique set of artists including SavageRealm, Maggie Linderman, and has been affiliated with punk rock-rap act, Nascar Aloe. As far as JASIAH I AM, Jasiah has worked with artists like Yung Bans and Travis Barker of blink-182, and some of the best tracks on the album are Shenanigans, Baked Fried Beans, When I’m Gone, and Neon Rainbows in my opinion. Hosted by Toronto’s well-known live urban music promotion and content platform, Rapseason, they brought their North American tour to Toronto’s Velvet Underground and brought on some local talent, which included Toronto’s own and recently signed to Warner Music Canada, LB Spiffy.

The show started with Toronto’s DJ Natty B spinning some nice tunes for the crowd to get turnt up to. Natty B played many club bangers from artists like Roddy Ricch, Fetty Wap, Lil Uzi Vert, and Playboi Carti. Once the spinning stopped, that’s when LB Spiffy came up and performed his classic tracks that most fans in the city know, including I Love My Gang, No Time, Lately, Risky, and Situations. He brought a lot of unique dance moves and some of the fans managed to vibe throughout the rest of the show. He also brought Toronto rapper and collaborator, Blacka Da Don, to perform their most unique track that they did together, which was called Back Now. Although it didn’t seem like LB Spiffy’s type of show to perform it, he gave it his all and everyone was quite amazed by how well he performed.

After LB Spiffy’s performance, both DJs for $not and Jasiah did a short double set and played some well-known Soundcloud rap bangers, and even invited a rising, upcoming artist by the name of KESHORE to perform some of his hits to the crowd. While there are a few fans that knew KESHORE’s music from Soundcloud, the rest only got to know him more from his amazing stage performance, incredible dancing, and his excellent interaction with the crowd, by the way he looks at them and manages to internally bless them with his great music. Once KESHORE finished, $not came to the stage and performed some of his greatest hits, like Megan, GOSHA, STRANDED, Beretta, and Billy Boy. All of his fans were quite amazed by his performance but they were more amazed by his dedication to let the fans open up the mosh pit each time and he would mosh with his fans, which is something that seems quite crazy to experience. He also high-fived the fans at the front, and also ended off his set with his most recent hit, Moon & Stars, and the female fans were screaming for joy by his delicate and beautiful way to perform that track.

After $not’s set, it was time for Dayton rapper Jasiah to come up to the stage and perform some of his well-known hits from the debut album. Seeing Jasiah perform was like seeing five guys in one perform, all with different energies and different styles. Jasiah at times would turn up so crazy, everyone in the crowd would either jump up and down or mosh in the pit like it was nothing. Then at other times, he would either just walk at different parts of the stage and perform very calmly until it was time to turn up, and it was amazing. From hearing him perform tracks like Neon Rainbows, Shenanigans, and When I’m Gone, to him performing CASE 19 and bringing $not out to perform his part, it was something to enjoy at every moment. He managed to take his shirt off and get turnt up on stage, in which he headed to the crowd barricade and shook hands with the crowd. He also managed to dedicate one of his tracks that he performed to Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade, in which he performed Crisis, one of his tracks that were on his first music video that Cole Bennett directed for Lyrical Lemonade. From that, it was something the crowd enjoyed very much and danced the night away to.

If you want to go see an over-the-top, exciting show, with your favorite Soundcloud rappers, then a Jasiah and $not concert should be for you.
