British rapper and grime artist Headie One has been making monumental strides in reaching the top of the UK music scene as of lately. The 27-year-old released his debut studio album, ‘Edna’ in 2020 which earned the star his first number one on the UK Albums Chart. Alongside his critically acclaimed album, Headie has taken part in some phenomenal collaborations on tracks like, “18 Hunna” featuring Dave, “Aint it different” with Stormzy and Aj Tracey and he even has a song with the ‘Six God’ himself Drake on “Only You Freestyle”. We were lucky enough to catch Headie One as he set off on his Edna UK your and touched down in Manchester for a special night at the Manchester Academy. Support for the night came from; DJ GBE, Moneybagz, Ivorian Doll,OFB Bradz,Dezzie,Bandokay & Double LZ.

The energy in the jam-packed venue was electric from the get-go and the roof felt like it was about to fly off as Headie One made his way to the stage and instantly made it a night to remember. He’s simply a star in the making and has phenomenal stage presence in bringing the party to any stage and shutting the place down. The rap star played a wide variety of fan favourites and tracks from his Edna album and I for one am very excited to continue watching this talented artist rise through the industry.
