Holly Humberstone is having an absolute breakthrough of a year and we’re only six months into 2022. From winning the rising star award at the 2022 Brit awards, to supporting Olivia Rodrigo on the North-American leg of her sour tour it’s already looking like Holly is destined for great things. The British singer-songwriter is preparing to releasee her highly anticipated debut studio album this year after already seeing success with her released singles and EP releases. Alongside her many scheduled festival appearances this season, Holly announced two intimate headline shows of her own in Manchester and London and we were lucky enough to catch Holly as she took over the Manchester Academy 2 for a special sold-out show. Support for the night came from group Girl Scout.

As Holly effortlessly took to the stage the Manchester venue applauded and cheered which caused a beaming smile to emerge upon Holly’s face as she got the night underway. She performed a range of songs from her emotional and incredibly-written discography included many fan favourites like, “Falling Asleep At The Wheel”, “London is Lonely” and “The Walls Are Way Too Thin”. Holly Humberstone made this relatively small venue feel like an arena with a stunning and heartfelt performance, from sitting down to serenade the crowd from behind a piano to performing her heart out with her guitar and melodies, it was a real star-defining performance and everyone in the venue knew it. If it wasn’t already clear that Holly Humberstone is destined for the bright lights and stardom before this gig then you definitely knew it after this special performance. Holly Humberstone also just announced her biggest headlining UK tour titled the “Sleep Tight” tour and after this incredible concert in Manchester we are eagerly waiting to see what she has in store for these upcoming shows.
