Vance Joy is making his rounds again and played in Atlanta on March 23rd at the Coca Cola Roxy. The packed crowd was excited to hear songs off of his new album, “In Our Own Sweet Time”, especially when the opening song was “Missing Piece”.

Vance Joy lead man, James Keogh, was very personable with the crowd and us photographers in the pit! He shared lots of eye contact and smiles to make people feel welcome.

A little anecdote about how he was asked to write a song for a movie but the company didn’t end up liking it, but Vance Joy did, led into “We’re Going Home”.

Of course the night included their big hit “Riptide” and even had a cover of “Gimmie! Gimmie! Gimmie!” by ABBA.

Overall, Atlanta was so excited to have Vance Joy visit again and the band was just as excited to be back.
