Hibiscus flowers and vintage dresses flooded the House of Blues Cambridge Room to witness Remy Bond live in concert for The Star Shaped Baby Tour.
Singer, songwriter, and vintage aesthetic expert, Remy Bond, is best known for her viral breakout single, Summer Song, which had everyone wondering who she was and where could they find more. Bond’s knack for nostalgic, vintage imagery and soothing vocals garnered her an audience that filled the House of Blues with excitement as they prepared for her to hit the stage. Bond took center stage along with her very talented backup dancers to perform songs such as Simple Girl, Hawaiian Dream, and Don’t Go Back To Paris. The Star Shaped Baby Tour contained a full production in her hour-long set with costume changes, a giant martini glass, and a full wedding scene on stage. She even brought out her sister, Olivia Bond, to perform Moviestar in a showgirls-esque number. The night closed with Red White and Blue and as fans grabbed their last photos with their digital cameras, everyone in the room was in awe of the amazing show the rising star put on. Soon, Remy Bond’s name will be a staple in her genre as she expands her world, aesthetically and sonically.
