Alina Baraz made a stop for her “Alone With You” tour at House of Blues Houston and it was a magical show that left everyone wanting more. The venue required guests to be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID test taken within a 72 hour time frame of the show in order to attend. This made everyone feel safer and gave them the opportunity to enjoy the show more. Once at the venue the line wrapped around the 3 floors. I’ve never seen a line so big, it shows how much fans wanted to attend the show and see their favorite artist.

Alina came on stage at 9pm on the dot revealing a silhouette of herself. The fans screamed and cheered knowing that she was on stage ready to perform. She opened with her song “My Whole Life” and everyone immediately started singing in harmony, there were even fans crying. She continued to sing some of her songs such as “Endlessly”, my personal favorite, “Morocco” before stopping and having a talk with fans. She thanked everyone for being at the show and expressed her love towards all her fans.

Baraz continued to perform her show in acts, where there were intermissions and some displays behind her on a projector. Some of these displays included flowers, beaches or even footage of Alina herself, the crowd loved it. During Act 3, Alina performed songs from her first project “Urban Flora” with Galimatias, which is an EP all the fans love. Some of the songs performed were “Make You Feel”, “Show Me”, “Can I” and “Fantasy”. I think this section was one of the loudest times I heard fans sing, all because it brought them back memories of why they fell in love with Alina in the first place. She proceeded to sing one of her biggest hits, “Electric” ft. Khalid and the crowd absolutely lost it for this one. Every single person pulled out their phone to record and all sang in harmony, it was incredible. The show finished with the songs “Frank”, and “To Me”. Everyone had a great time, they took photos with their friends, videos and constantly said how they couldn’t wait to see Alina again. This is a tour I definitely recommend going to!
