All Time Low brought their ‘Everyone’s Talking’ tour to San Antonio along with special guests The Paradox, The Cab and Mayday Parade. A great rock lineup that brings together old and new punk rock fans together.
The Paradox, an Atlanta based rock group, opened up the show and brought all the energy. They are a newly formed group getting praise from the likes of Jack White, Travis Barker and Lil Nas X. The singer made jokes about the guitarists throughout the set and it shows how their relationship in a band has grown by not taking it so seriously.
After a 10 year hiatus, The Cab made a return to the stage and it surely didn’t feel like they ever left. They performed in great shape and never missed a beat. They performed all the hits their fans grew up listening to and sounded like their old selves, and brought back memories of fans’ high school and middle school days.
Mayday Parade is one of those bands that you’re going to get a great performance out of whether they’re headlining or not. A high energetic set by them surely left the crowd wanting more and more than warmed up for the headlining act of the night.
All Time Low lead guitarist, Jack Barakat, came out solo on stage and performed ‘[Cold Open], before the rest of the band came out. They started the night with “Oh No!” from their latest album ‘Everyone’s Talking!’ Fans screamed, cried and cheered throughout the whole performance seeing their school aged band in front of them for one night. Bringing back memories from the school days where they dressed like them and remembered the days when they released their first few albums.
It was a night to remember for all fans in attendance. Other songs in Act 1 they performed included, Damned If I do Ya (Damned If I Don’t), Little Bit, Time-Bomb, Sleeping In, Something’s Gotta Give, and Missing You. For Act 2, they did a few more songs that included Dirty Laundry, Butterflies, and Monsters.
The ended the night with a 3-song encore which started with a drum solo. Started with The Weather, followed by Lost In Stereo and of course ended the night with their most popular song, Dear Maria, Count Me In.
All Time Low always puts on a great show and leaves fans anticipating for the next time they come to town.
