Just days after stealing the show at the legendary Glastonbury festival, performing a headliner worthy set in the process, Pop-punk royalty Avril Lavigne headed up to Manchester to kick start the week-long Sound Of The City festival in Manchester, turning the Castlefield Bowl amphitheater venue into an emo-infused paradise. Avril Lavigne was joined by fellow legends in their own right in Simple Plan and PHEM, a trio of truly fantastic acts that created the perfect punk-filled night.
