Bad Bunny @ Houston Toyota Center – Houston, TX

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, also known as Bad Bunny (as well as El Conejo Malo) brought his sold out X100PRE Tour to Houston and wow was it an incredible show. The reggaetón artist came on stage wearing all pink and a black face mask, along with several dancers who trailed behind him, the entire venue was filled with cheers and screams from fans, it was incredible. The stage was put right in the middle of the venue where everyone could see him, no matter where you were sitting, you were going to get an incredible view of the artist, along with the amazing visuals that were projected among the stage. The fans each received bracelets with the Bad Bunny name on it, these bracelets lit up to the beats of each song throughout the night. You could tell how amazed the fans were by the amount of thought Benito and his team put on the show.

Benito started off his set with many songs from X100PRE such as “Solo De Mi” and “Caro”. Each song that was performed gave it’s own unique story that was shown through the visuals and lighting. From clouds and space theme visuals ,to fireworks/pyro and multiple smoke machines, the production was very immersive. Throughout the night the singer gave multiple thanks to the crowd for attending the show. He showed great appreciation towards his fans, he reminded everyone to be in the moment and enjoy the show as much as possible, he constantly encouraged positive vibes throughout the show. Benito played many of his songs with collaborators such as “Te Bote”, “Mia” and “I Like it”. He also played a few songs from his collaboration album with J. Balvin, “Oasis”, which included my personal favorite song “La Cancion”. “While performing “La Romana” the room filled with a bunch of cool pyro and lasers. You could feel the heat among your body, it was a really cool feeling.

As the show came closer to an end, Bad Bunny performed his newest song “Vete” and it was amazing how many fans already knew the lyrics, it just shows how great of a fanbase he has. He finished his set with “Callaita”, where the whole room filled with lasers, everyone sang the song as hard as they could. This was definitely a memorable tour for myself and many other people. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for him, and we will definitely try and catch him at his next tour.
