Big Time Rush @ The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – Houston, Tx

Big Time Rush, consisting of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega, and Logan Henderson returned to The Woodlands Pavilion with The “Can’t Get Enough” Tour and gave Houston a night to remember.

The venue was filled with fans of all ages wearing outfits showing off their favorite members from the band, some even recreated outfits that were shown on the Nickelodeon show “Big Time Rush” – giving everyone a hint of nostalgia. Fans were also showing off their posters made for the members to read, the amount of creativity in the venue was incredible. Support for the night came from MAX and JAX.

It was finally time for the band to perform. The lights went dark and slowly the band rose onto the stage. The crowd cheered in excitement as the band opened the set with “Can’t Get Enough”, followed by “Elevate” and “Song For You”. Within the first few minutes of the show we saw tons of fan interaction, synchronized choreography and amazing vocals – we knew that this was going to be a good night. The band took a moment to thank everyone for coming out to the show, encouraging them to have as much fun as possible throughout the night. The show was followed by an acoustic set of songs “All Over Again”, “Any Kind of Guy” and “Ask You Tonight”.

The show was filled with songs from the band’s entire discography such as “Forget You Now”, “Love Me Love Me” and “Nothing Even Matters”. During “Worldwide” the band kept their tradition of each picking one fan to go on stage and sing the song to – the fans who were picked will now have a memory that will last them a lifetime. To give fans even more nostalgia, the band did a medley of popular songs that were featured on the tv show such as “Famous”, “City is Ours” and even “Big Night”, least to say, the venue was at their loudest during these songs.

The show was slowly coming to an end and the band played some of their biggest hits during this time. The lights dimmed and “Oh, oh, oh-oh, oh” started playing across the venue, the famous intro to the Big Time Rush theme song, immediately fans cheered in excitement and screamed the lyrics word by word, healing everyone’s inner child. The band thanked everyone for coming and walked off stage – little was it known to fans that they would come back for an encore. After a few moments “Windows Down” started playing but fans did not see the band on stage, it turns out they were all in the crowd up close and personal to fans singing! Everyone in the venue was beyond excited being able to see their favorite band members so close! The show ended with “Boyfriend” and “Till I Forget About You”. Overall, the show was filled with incredible energy, vocals and tons of band/fan interaction. If Big Time Rush comes to a city near you please make sure to attend, it’s a show you will not regret!
