British Indie Pop trio known as Blenavon took the stage last Sunday in Chicago at Schubas Tavern with Circa Waves. Their set included songs such as “Let’s Pray,” “Orthodox Man,” and “My Bark Is Your Bite” all from their latest released album That’s Your Lot. Their performance was energetic which set the bar high considering it was their first stop on the tour. The crowd also seemed to be pleased with the performance as they sang along to some of their songs. In case you did not already know Blaenavon consists of Ben Gregory (vocals), Frank Wright (bass), and Harris McMillan (drums). They have toured endlessly around the U.K and also played some of the most recognized music festivals such as Reading and Leeds, Latitude, SXSW, and Glastonbury. Since then, their music has gained more recognition as more people discover their well crafted pop tunes. Now they are back touring the states with Circa Waves, and are definitely a band you should check out when they stop in or near your city.
