Music, Why Not!

Bruno Major @ White Oak Music Hall – Houston, Tx

Bruno Major brought the “Tour of Planet Earth” to White Oak Music Hall on Wednesday evening and gave attendees a night to remember.

The show opened with Nashville singer Lindsey Lomis. Lindsey came on stage with her guitar and strong vocals, opening the set with “Daydreaming” immediately catching the attention of everyone. Lomis told us how this tour was a full circle moment for her as she had won a singing competition a few years ago to open a show for Bruno and now she was on tour with him. She played songs from her discography such as “Stalker”, “Universe” and “Bad News / Good News”. She finished her set with “Outta Sight” – the newest single to be released on 9/22. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Lindsey.

Up next was Bruno. The lights dimmed, and everyone cheered in excitement. Bruno came out with the band and opened the set with “The Show Must Go On” from the latest album “Columbo”. Everyone joined him in singing, even though the songs may be more relaxed and “chill”, fans were giving it their absolute all. Bruno thanked everyone for coming out to the show and wanted everyone to have a good time, he explained how he was excited to tour as he was playing his two latest albums. The set followed with songs such as “Fair-Weathered Friend”, “The Most Beautiful Thing” and “Tell Her”.

Before playing “18”, Bruno mentioned that the music video for the song would be released on 9/21, the day after the show, fans cheered in excitement. During the set you could see many attendees who came with a significant other or someone who they cared for, they would slow dance, hug, and sway together while showing their love for the artist, it’s not something you see at many shows often. “Easily” was the first song I ever heard by Major, and seeing it performed live was incredible, the entire venue was probably at their loudest during this song as it’s such a fan favorite. The set ended with “The End”. Both Lindsey and Bruno gave incredible performances, and it’s a show that will live in the memories of all who attended.
