Clairo has took the world by surprise in 2017, when she released her debut single “Pretty Girl” on YouTube. Two years later, the 21-year-old singer started the Immunity Tour playing 2 sold out shows in Chicago, where a young crowd, mostly composed by girls, gathered at Metro to see Clairo perform the songs of her debut album.

The show started with beabadoobee, a band formed by Filipino-British singer Bea Kristi. The band’s lo-fi and indie pop was the perfect way to begin the night, and although she was only the opening act there were a lot of her fans in the crowd, holding signs and shouting how much they loved her.

Clairo took the stage and the crowd didn’t stopped screaming and dancing for her entire set. The stage was decorated with 2 stands where Clairo’s musicians played and a screen in a semicircle shape that projected visuals very fitting to her songs and images from her music videos.

Although Clairo was touring with her debut album, she also performed songs from her EP Diary 001 like “4EVER” and “Pretty Girl” in which the crowd sang louder than Clairo. She also performed songs from singles and collaborations she has like “Drown” with Cuco and “I Don’t Think I Can Do This Again” with DJ Mura Masa, which was the final song of her set.

With just 21 years, Clairo embarks on her first headline tour that will go through the US, Canada and will end in Mexico in March 2020, and these 2 sold out shows in Chicago are proof that Clairo will have a great career in the upcoming years with the help of a growing fanbase that will scream their hearts out to all of her songs.
