Haiku Hands continue their brief North American tour this month with a stop at The Echo in Los Angeles, CA on June 30th.
If you missed their 2020 self-titled debut album, it’s worth your time to go back and check it out. Arriving in the heat of the pandemic, the trio provided bouncy, dance-ready anthems that made staying inside a little more bearable. Across the 12 tracks (and 16 on their deluxe edition), Haiku Hands collab with Sofi Tukker, Mad Zach, and more on experimental, accessible yet accessible pop music that’s ready for a rave.
Just a month ago, the group released a new single called “Bye Bye”. This track finds them teaming up with Ribongia to create another banger that features a throbbing beat matched with scorched earth lyrics. I wouldn’t blame if you started sweating just listening to it.
This all translates to an unforgettable live show for the trio from Australia. Beatrice Lewis, Claire Nakazawa and Mie Nakazawa are joined by Mataya Young on the road and create dancefloor pits often reserved for 4AM raves. For a preview of the madness, check out the tour teaser below.
