Concert Preview: Kali Uchis @ 713 Music Hall – Houston, Tx

Grammy winning singer Kali Uchis is set to embark on the highly anticipated “Red Moon In Venus” tour and Houston is lucky enough to be the second stop on the tour.

Kali has been making waves in the industry ever since her EP “Por Vida” was released in 2015. Her latest album “Red Moon In Venus” debuted at #4 on Billboard 200. “Red Moon In Venus is a timeless, burning expression of desire, heartbreak, faith, and honesty, reflecting the divine femininity of the moon and Venus” Kali stated in a press release. The album features collaborations with artists Omar Apollo, Don Toliver and Summer Walker.

The lead single “I Wish you Roses” was met with positive reviews and is a complete ear-worm. The album was followed by the second track “Moonlight” which was performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! We hope to hear fan favorite songs such as “telepatía”, “fue mejor” to newer songs such as a personal favorite “Worth the Wait” during this upcoming tour.

Kali has performed in several festivals in South America this year, and is set to perform at Coachella before officially embarking on the “Red Moon In Venus Tour”. As someone who has seen Kali before, I’m excited to see what this tour is going to bring. Fans can expect to be captivated with her incredible vocals, dance moves and the production involved in her performances. Raye is set to be the opener for select dates.

The tour is set to start at the end of April and run through the end of May. Check out the dates below to see when the tour stops in a city near you. To find out more information on the shows click here.
