Music, Why Not!

Daniel Caesar @ 713 Music Hall – Houston, Tx

Daniel Caesar brought the anticipated “Superpowers” Tour to Houston and performed to a sold out crowd at 713 Music Hall on Tuesday night.

As soon as you walked in the venue you could feel the excitement and energy. Fans waited in lines for some of the incredibly designed merch, took pictures at the venue photo booth and bought drinks while talking to their friends and sharing how excited they were for the show to start. Support for the night came from Orion Sun.

It was time for the show to start, the lights dimmed and the stage was slowly starting to fill with smoke, the audience cheered in excitement. Daniel Caesar came out on stage and opened the set with “Ocho Rios” from his latest album “NEVER ENOUGH”, fans joined and started singing in unison at the top of their lungs. Caesar then took the position at the center of the stage where a giant clear curtain dropped, giving the illusion of the singer being in a see-through cube. It was an incredible visual, the set was followed by “Let Me Go,” and “Disillusioned”.

Daniel thanked fans for coming out to the show and spending the night with him, he was very thankful for everyone that was in attendance. The show contained songs from Daniel’s entire discography such as “Cyanide” from “CASE STUDY 01”, “Loose” from “Freudian” and “Do You Like Me?” front the latest album “NEVER ENOUGH. Throughout the night fans were singing the songs back to Caesar with such a passion you rarely see, it shows how much they connect with the singer’s music. As the show came closer to an end we heard more of Caesar’s hits being played, such as “Japanese Denim”, “Best Part” and “Get You”. Least to say, the audience was probably at its loudest during these songs – from fans to venue staff, everyone was singing at the top of their lungs.

If the “Superpowers” Tour comes to a city near you, please make sure to attend, it’s a show which contains incredible vocals, visuals and overall positive vibes that will make it memorable for anyone to see. More information on the tour can be found HERE.
