Daniel Caesar’s show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles was intimate, beautiful, and a fun one to document. The opener was Koffee, a 19-year-old Reggae and Dancehall artist from Jamaica. Her performance was one of the better opening acts that I have seen, she had the crowd captivated with her wordplay and rapping ability as well.

After Koffee came Daniel Caesar, he started off the show with a song off of his latest album, CASE STUDY 01. The GA audience right behind me knew every lyric right from the get-go. He was very active on stage, he moved around quite a bit while interacting with the crowd which is always a cool thing to see. He performed his song “Who Hurt You?” a favorite of mine. It was amazing seeing one of my favorite R&B artists in their element and being able to document that.
