Enthusiastic fans were buzzing as indie rock trio Dreamers entered The Fillmore’s iconic stage in San Francisco. Illuminated by bright red spotlights, the band immediately launched into what would be a high-spirited and impressively musically diverse set. Starting off with one of their most well-known singles, “Wolves (You Got Me)”, Dreamers immediately harnessed the crowd’s simmering energy, turning the pit into a boisterous mass of jumping bodies. The group’s most popular releases “DRUGS” and “Sweet Disaster” thrilled the audience, but it was the Dreamers’ more subdued, restrained performances that stole the show. Lead singer Nick Wold introduced “Bleed Through”, explaining that it had been inspired by those who survive jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge, instantly regretting the choice. The solemn yet emotional arrangement showcased an added layer of artistry and maturity for Dreamers. Also included in the set was a cover of The Cranberries’ “Zombie”. Wold’s unique voice tackled the difficult song admirably, and further highlighting the band’s overall skill and stylistic range.
