After a 6-year hiatus from headline touring the incredible British singer songwriter Ella Eyre finally came back with a bang, selling out multiple dates across the Uk on what can only be described as a truly triumphant return. We were lucky enough to catch the talented 27-year-old as she took over the Manchester O2 Ritz for a sold-out show and a jam-packed night. The star took to twitter immediately after her performance to address her adoring fans saying, “Manchester I don’t have favourites but if I did you’d be my favourite.” I think that pretty much speaks for itself…
After a phenomenal supporting set from rising artist Bow Anderson, it was finally time for Ella to grace the stage. The production for the tour is simply incredible, Ella and her team have clearly put hours upon hours of time and dedication into this tour and all the hard work was about to pay off as she bounced onto the stage to greet the fans in attendance and the night got underway. She emerged onto the scene with one of her most known songs, “Answer Phone” and this was a catalyst for the night as she would go on to perform more fan favourites like, “Just got Paid” and “Came here for love”. Ella didn’t miss a beat the entire night and after such a long time without performing it was as clear as day how much it meant to the singer and how she was clearly born to perform.
