English singer songwriter Ellie Goulding has done it all, from topping billboard top 100 charts to being one of the most streamed female artists in the 21st century. Goulding released her fourth studio album, Brightest Blue, on 17 July 2020 with the album debuting at the top of the UK album charts, becoming Goulding’s third album to do so and it was now finally time for the pop-icon to tour the incredible album throughout the UK. We caught up with the global superstar as she returned to Manchester to the infamous Manchester O2 Apollo, support for the night came from rising singer songwriter L Devine.
Ellie graced the stage after a phenomenal set from L Devine, with the crowd in Manchester seemingly ready to burst with anticipation for the night they had ahead of themselves. As the blue lights took over the venue it was finally time for Ellie to make her grand entrance onto the stage and to greet the thousands of fans in attendance, she didn’t miss a beat throughout the entire performance and her voice and musical talents are truly one of a kind. Goulding played a wide variety of her discography with fan favourites like, ‘Love me Like you do’ and ‘Burn’ joining the set list amongst tracks from her most recent album and there wasn’t a single soul in the venue that wasn’t joining the star in singing along.
