Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin brought their co-headlining tour to Houston and it was a show that should not have been missed. The tour was sadly postponed in 2020 due to COVID 19 and was rescheduled to November of this year and fans were eager to attend the show.

Colombian singer, Sebastian Yatra opened the show and he was a spectacular act. He went from dancing and giving a full performance, to toning it down and taking things a little more acoustic. He performed some of his songs such as “Pareja Del Año” and “Chica Ideal”. Yatra was constantly thanking everyone for supporting him and making his dream come true.

Ricky Martin was the first performer of the co-headliners to take the stage and he blew everyone’s mind. The first song he performed was “Livin’ La Vida Loca” and immediately grabbed the crowd’s attention. Everyone stood up on their feet and yelled the lyrics at the top of their lungs. He had the name “RICKY” displayed on a giant LED screen, he was at the top of stairs performing while lasers and smoke effects filled the arena. He thanked fans for attending the show and let everyone know that they were in for an incredible night.

Throughout the show, Martin had a variety of outfit changes, and stage sets/props that gave fans a different experience throughout the night. The stage was also full of backup dancers and performers who would either be playing drums or doing different dances such as flamenco or even salsa.  Christina Aguilera was briefly featured on the screen for the song “Nobody Wants to Be Lonely” as well as Maluma for the song “Vente Pa’ Ca”, many more of his hits were sung such as “Maria” and “She Bangs”. Martin finished the set with his song “The Cup of Life”, he thanked fans one last time for coming out for the night and let them know to enjoy Enriques set.

20 minutes later, Enrique took the stage and the fans once again screamed their lungs out waiting to see him perform. The venue went dark, and Iglesias emerged from a silhouette and performed his song “Freak”, hearing the screams of the fans when his silhouette was revealed gave me goosebumps, it gave me an idea of how the night was going to continue.

Iglesias then surprised fans by singing at the second half of the stage, closer to the crowd. He sang acoustic versions of his songs “Cuando”, “Loco”, and “Me Pase”. He then surprised fans by coming down from the stage and going into the crowd and giving fans hugs! Seeing tears in people’s eyes from meeting fans made me realize how much people connect with artists.

More fan favorite songs were sung such as “Hero”, “Tonight”, and “Bailando”, everyone got to hear songs they liked, whether they were old or newer fans. Enrique ended his set with “I Like It” where confetti, balloons, lasers and pyro filled the room. It was such a sight to see. Everyone in the crowd was singing their hearts out for this final song, taking photos and videos for their social media etc, it was a great way to end the show. We highly recommend attending this tour if you have a chance! You do not want to miss it.
