On May 16, 2023, the Swedish folk duo, First Aid Kit, played a beautiful show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The indie/folk duo consists of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg who brought their music overseas to the States performing the music from their latest album Palomino for their anticipated 2023 North American Tour, Palomino Tour.

The show began with their opening band, Hurry For the Riff Raff who played a lovely set array of music from their Life on Earth. As they close off their opening performances, the fans of First Aid Kit eagerly wait for the sisters to make their way to the stage.

Johanna and Klara Söderberg, each with their guitars in hand, get on stage greeted by a venue full of excited fans. Behind them shined bright, colorful auras in the image of suns and clouds. They start their show with their song “Palomino” casting a warm atmosphere over their fans. They followed it with their song “It’s a Shame” from their 2018 album Fireworks. As the show went on the fans gasped in excitement as they treated their fans to their cover of “Running Up That Hill”. The sisters sang beautiful harmonies together that echoed throughout the building.

They continued to play and performed their popular songs such as “Fireworks”.  While the sisters strummed their guitars and sang angelically, the music flowed through the audience effortlessly. Fans in the venues swayed back and forth while couples danced slowly to their music.

First Aid Kit put on a nostalgic, warm show full of heart for their fans that evening. If they come to a city near you, definitely attend their show!
