Indie Folk blending musician Gregory Alan Isakov continues to captivate audiences around the world with his remarkable musical talents and unfathomable ability to make a packed-out room feel like an intimate experience. The South-African born singer-songwriter resides in Colorado and has had a long-standing career since first touring with a band at the age of 16. Now 43 years old his legacy and music more than speaks for itself, with the legend being one of the most talented in the folk industry. Gregory Alan Isakov is most widely known for hit songs such as “Big Black Car”, “San Luis” and “Amsterdam” that feature on records from his well-decorated discography including albums ‘The Weatherman’ and ‘This Empty Northern Hemisphere’. Gregory Alan Isakov now finds himself knee deep in one of his biggest UK/Europe tours that sees him and his equally talented touring band takeover a range of huge venues outside of the States, including sold-out shows across the continent. We were lucky enough to see Gregory Alan Isakov as he set up for the night in Manchester to play a very special gig at the Manchester Academy 2 to a near sold out show. Not one single person left this show with a dry eye and it was one of the most magical shows I’ve witnessed in a long, long time. Support for the night came from the amazing Blanco White.
