The singer-songwriter from Grantham, Holly Humberstone, has set on a UK wide tour, and we caught a glimpse at Manchester’s Albert Hall.
Musically, Humberstone effortlessly blends elements of alternative pop with indie folk, creating a sound that is both atmospheric and intimate. Her celestial vocals float over lush arrangements, creating a sense of intimacy which is both haunting and beautiful.
My stand out track for the gig was the opener, Paint My Bedroom Black she has the synth pop vibes from The 1975 but with her own twist of an unforgettable listening experience. The Albert hall was full of fans singing their hearts out along with the melodies along with the colourful lighting display made for a captivating experience which is what it was all in all, a great night.
