Holly Humberstone delivered a stunning performance at a sold-out New Century Hall in Manchester, captivating the crowd with her raw emotion, intimate stage presence and further proving she’s one of the country’s best singer songwriters in the process. The set felt both vulnerable and powerful, with each track hitting harder in a live setting – and accompanied by a brilliant stage setting that matched Holly’s Aesthetic beautifully. I personally was beyond excited to hear “To Love Somebody” live in performance as the track already stands out as one of my favourite releases of the year so far and has been on repeat non-stop since release, it did not disappoint live at all. Having now seen and photographed Holly Humberstne three times, it’s clear she continues to grow in confidence and connection with her audience every time she steps on stage. With her new album Cruel World arriving on April 10th, this show felt like an exciting glimpse of what’s still to come and I already cannot wait to catch this rising superstar next time she storms into Manchester with a plethora of new music.
