On an incredibly stormy night in Manchester that was filled with lightning and thunder, the legendary rock band Hollywood Vampires brought their own musical storm to Manchester’s AO Arena as the band reformed to play a very special show as part of their gigantic European tour. The American rock supergroup was formed in 2012 and consists of frontman Alice Cooper, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, Tommy Henriksen and none-other than Johnny Depp himself. Since forming in 2012 the world-famous rock band have put out two studio albums and continued to honour the legacy on which the band was formed around. Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry created the supergroup on the basis of covering rock songs from artists that had passed away in the 70’s and this can be seen in their setlist for live shows as they go through a true rock’n’roll history during their epic performances. This monumental European tour comes straight off the back of Hollywood Vampire’s latest album release, “Live In Rio” which was a recording of the band’s concert in Rio, Brazil from 2015 which has grown to be a historic concert for the group. Frontman Alice Cooper also recently announced that his latest studio album “Road” will be released in August. One thing’s for sure is that this band may be getting older with age, but it’s certainly not slowing them down or stopping their incredible musical abilities! It truly was a magical night and one for the history books in Manchester and we were truly honoured to be in the presence of such greatness. Support for the night came from The Tubes.
