Man of many talents, Jack Garratt returned to kick off his first headlining tour in two years with a special show at Manchester’s infamous and historic Albert Hall venue before setting off across the rest of the Uk. The English singer, songwriter and composer has been stealing headlines and effortlessly producing stunning pieces of music ever since the release of his debut studio album ‘Phase’ in 2016 that won him the Critics’ Choice Award in that years Brit Awards. Jack Garratt’s latest piece of work came in the form of his second studio album ‘Love, death & dancing’ which was released in 2020 and he has been hard at work looking towards his next project ever since. Unfortunately for Jack, his return to the main stage in Manchester got underway with some minor technical issues involving his drum sets and the whole ordeal led to the man himself saying afterwards on Instagram that the show was the “hardest show he has ever done”. Want to know the incredible thing about all of this, though? You never would have guessed it at all. Jack quickly handled the situation by switching up his planned setlist and launched into two beautiful stripped back covers which were accompanied by the entire venue cheering him on and it was just a magical moment. The show was soon back underway, and Jack Garratt didn’t skip a beat in delivering one of heck of a performance that left everyone with a good mood and dancing out into the Manchester streets. Support for the night came from the equally talented Tamzene.
