American singer-songwriter Jeremy Zucker is metaphorically top of the class when it comes to writing catchy, emotional pop ballads and has consistently proven himself to be capable of producing incredible tracks. After the release of his most recent album ‘Crusher’ he once again proved this. The 26-year-old is best known musically for his songs “comethru”, “you were good to me” and “all the kids are depressed” and has been in the music game since 2015. He has an array of musical styles and talents that sees him release upbeat rock inspired songs while at the same time producing heart-breaking emotional acoustic tracks. Jeremy Zucker is so versatile with his music that his talents just need to be praised highly. After two cancellations due to Covid-19 complications the star was now finally able to set sail on his ‘More Noise’ Europe and UK tour which sees him tackle some of his biggest overseas shows to date. We were lucky enough to catch Jeremy Zucker as he took over the Manchester Academy 2 for a very special sold-out show. Support for the night came from the wonderful Valley Boy.

As the Manchester venue filled up, the vibes were unparalleled and everyone was almost bursting with anticipation for Jeremy Zucker to take to the stage. A sea of screams and chants proceeded after the lights went dark and a spectacular light show signalled the start of the show. Jeremy took to the stage amidst a cloud of smoke/fog and got the night underway with “We’re fucked, it’s fine”. I personally have never seen an artist look so happy to arrive to a show with Jeremy Zucker grinning from ear to ear the entire night. Jeremy would go on to play fan favourites like “Supercuts”, “Therapist” and the previously mentioned “all the kids are depressed”. He showed off his acoustic skills to as he filled the room with emotions playing some of his more stripped back songs in “You were good to me” and an acoustic rendition of “Internet crush”. Jeremy Zucker had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hands the entire night and the admiration from his fans was spectacular to see, after a short disappearance from the stage he returned for an incredible encore of “Mexico” and “Talk is overrated”.
