At just 18 years old, Jessie Murph has sold out her first headlining tour, Drowning. Playing her show at the iconic Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, the venue was packed with eager fans. As the lights dimmed and her fans cheered, Jessie came on stage starting the night with her song, “I Would’ve”. From the beginning, Jessie reassured her audience that this show was meant to be a safe space for everyone and for whatever they are going through. Jessie sang with genuine sincerity about what she’s been through with her music. She has a strong ability to touch the audience with her songs as she vocalizes her tribulations with depression and heartbreak. Jessie made sure to keep her fans close as she held their hands as she sang her poignant songs. Her sincerity and vulnerability through her music form a deep connection with the audience. Throughout the night, Jessie not only sang songs from her latest album, drowning, but continued to surprise the crowd by playing multiple unreleased tracks to tease new releases coming soon. Jessie closed the night out with her song “Where Do You Go”. Jessie Murph has a very promising career ahead of her. I cannot wait to hear more music from her!
