Jojo performed to a sold out crowd at House of Blues Houston and it was a show that should not have been missed.

Fans were in line early waiting for their favorite artist. As soon as doors opened everyone ran inside to make sure to try and get a good spot that was as close as possible to the artist. While waiting for the show to start a lot of music from the 2000s was played, some songs including: “A Milli”, “Get Ur Freak On”, “In Da Club” and many more hits. This got fans excited and warmed them up for what was yet to come.

Jojo took the stage at 9:20pm and as soon as she came out the entire crowd screamed her name. She opened the show with “What U Need” and the fans immediately joined her and sang in unison. Everyone was cheering, recording and screaming at the top of their lungs. The show had a variety of different visuals, including some lasers, which really caught me and the crowd’s attention. She took a moment to thank everyone for coming out to the show, she told everyone how excited she was to be back on stage and was ready to give us an incredible night, the crowd cheered her onto the next song. She played songs from her entire discography such as “Spiral SZN”, “Man”, “Like That”, etc.

There was a point in the show where she covered one of my personal favorite Rihanna songs, “Love On The Brain”, the crowd immediately cheered and started singing the song at the top of their lungs, it was a pretty great sight to see. Another song she did a cover of was “Marvins Room” by Drake, which also had the crowd cheering in excitement.

As the show began to end, Jojo came back on stage for a 5 song encore, which included the 2000s hits and fan favorite songs, “Leave (Get Out)” and “Too Little Too Late”, the crowds inner child came out and seeing everyone and scream these songs at the top of their lungs was something I will never forget. Jojo thanked everyone one last time and ended the show with “Baby It’s You”. This show was very memorable for me and many people. If she comes to a city near you please make sure to attend the show, you will not regret it.
