Keshi @ The Kia Forum – Los Angeles, CA

keshi brought his Requiem tour to Los Angeles on August 11, taking over the legendary Kia Forum for what he called his “favorite show on the entire tour.” The singer-songwriter has history with the venue, having opened for LANY there in 2021, but this time he returned as a headliner, ready to give fans a night full of emotion, intimacy, and big moments. With Requiem exploring themes of love, loss, and growth while expanding beyond the R&B sounds of his debut GABRIEL, the show gave a clear picture of just how much he’s evolved as an artist.

keshi’s opener starfall came out and lifted the energy with songs like “weeknight,” “come home,” and “stuck like this,” getting the crowd on their feet and setting the stage for what was to come.

When keshi finally appeared, backlit by smoke and shadows, the Forum exploded. He hit the stage with his song “Amen”. Next, he launched into “Say” as the audience sang every word back at him, and his calm but confident presence matched the intimate tone of his music. Wearing a white hoodie, black jeans, and chain-detailed boots, he looked right at home on the big stage. Throughout the night, his honeyed vocals carried through songs like “the reaper,” “Dream,” and “forever.” A highlight came when he picked up a guitar to play his newest single “WANTCHU,” filling the venue with its dreamy sound. When keshi sang “Soft Spot,” all the couples in the venue swayed and held each other. The song turned the arena into a shared love moment, showing how deeply his music connects to people’s relationships. Later, “Just To Die” stood out as the most personal moment of the show as some fans sang along, while others listened in stillness, taking in every word.

After fans chanted for more, keshi returned to close with “Id,” walking across the stage and soaking in the moment one last time. keshi left his fans promising, “All I want to do is make songs for you for the rest of my life.” It was the kind of show that reminded everyone why his connection with fans runs so deep. Nights like this remind you why keshi on stage is something every fan should experience!
