The Met Philadelphia was filled with energy Tuesday night as artists Desto Dubb, Lil Skies, and Lil Pump joined the stage. Desto definitely warmed up the crowd as he jumped offstage, and some fans had the opportunity to shout lyrics to his hit songs into the mic. He made sure everyone was off of their feet the whole set and were more than pumped to see Lil Skies and Lil Pump. He repped Philly in a sixers jersey, and chose to spend his birthday putting on the best show.
Lil Skies built up the excitement and kept the crowd waiting before taking the stage and performing songs off his newly released album “Shelby”, named after his mom. Melodic tunes such as “I” and “Nowadays” were belted from every level of the venue, and you could just see how proud Lil Skies was of these moments. He brought out friends from Michigan to do a few songs with him, and everyone was so hyped to see them together.
Lil Pump sang hits like “Gucci Gang” and “Esketit”, and even slimed a fan Nickelodeon style after a trivia game all about him. There was no shortage of moshing at the show, and at one point Pump restarted a song to make an even bigger and better mosh pit to meet his energy levels. The visuals were insane, and water bottles splashed left and right. The environment of a show like this is unmatched, and if you haven’t seen these artists, I would make my way out to a show pretty soon.
