Australia’s goofiest band stopped by Terminal West on February 23rd- Lime Cordiale!! These Aussie brothers accompanied by a few pals brought their “Enough of the Sweet Talk” tour to Atlanta for a night packed full of good music, laughs, and dancing.
The Orphan The Poet (typically shortened to TOTP) opened up the night with an energetic, interactive set! Covering ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ by One Direction really got the audience into the music. David, TOTP’s vocalist, climbed into the crowd and got on a stool during their song ‘Birthday’. This opening band put their all into their set and left this city with a few more fans!
Playing their most popular track, ‘Temper Temper’, as the second song of the night set the mood they were aiming for- hype!!!! Smiles were plastered along the front row and hands in the air all through the crowd. From kazoos to trumpets to clarinets, Lime Cordiale kept the crowd on their toes as they kept introducing new instruments. A silly bit where the two brothers, Louis and Oli, had a boxing match to a back track made for an entertaining segment of the night.
Overall, the vibe of Terminal West on Sunday night was unbeatable. Even though they’re on the other side of the world, goofing around and having the whole room sing along to nearly every song made Lime Cordiale feel right at home!
