Lolo Zouai performed to a sold out crowd in Houston for The “Playgirl Tour”, and wow – was the show incredible.
The show started with opener Amelia Moore. The singer performed a range of songs from her entire discography, as well as some new music. Songs such as “My Ex”, “Crybaby” and “Drugs” were performed – she even covered “Hollaback Girl” as well as “Kiss Me More”, immediately hyping up the attendees. Moore finished the set with “I Feel Everything” and fans sang with her in unison. I was impressed, I can’t wait to see more from Amelia.
It was finally time for Lolo to perform. She came on stage and started with “PL4YG1RL” from her Sophomore album “PLAYGIRL”, immediately fans started singing and cheering. She then moved on to perform songs from her debut album “High Highs to Low Lows” such as “Ride” and “Caffeine”, these fan favorites definitely hyped everyone up and prepared them for the show that we were going to get. Lolo took a moment to thank fans for coming out and told the crowd to have as much fun as possible and to enjoy the night.
Lolo then transitioned to her next scenes and added accessories that corresponded with each character from the PLAYGIRL album. Songs like “VHS”, “Picking Berries” and “Brooklyn Love” were played followed by the next scene which featured some songs like “Room”, “Moi” and “Gummy Bear”. The finale consisted of “Skin and Bones” and the two songs that Lolo said changed her career – “High Highs to Low Lows” and “Desert Rose”. The venue was definitely at its loudest during these two songs. Lolo thanked everyone for coming out to the show and exited the stage, fans cheered her name wanting an encore, and they got their wish. Lolo came back onstage and performed the final two songs of the night, “Crazy Sexy Dream Girl” and “Free Trial”. Lolo Zouai put on an incredible performance and left fans speechless, if she ever comes to a city near you please make sure to attend, it’s a show you don’t want to miss!
