Madison Beer brought her debut album, Life Support, on the road with 27 stops  — starting in Toronto and ending in Los Angeles later this month. Madison released her highly anticipated album back in February through Epic Records and was able to take creative control through song writing, producing and creating her own visuals. The album shows off her broad vocal range and play on pop while it explores the highs and lows of toxic relationships and having the spotlight on her since the age of 12. While making her way through Texas, Madison’s Dallas show took place at the Echo Lounge & Music Hall as one of the first few concerts to take place at this brand new venue. Fans arrived excited and eager to see her live, dressed in their best outfits of suede boots and leather.

The night started off with supporting acts Audriix and Maggie Lindemann. Fans were engaged — singing and dancing along through the night with both openers. When the time came for Madison to take the stage, fans cheered “Madison! Beer! Madison! Beer” as the opening intro started. Visually, I knew it was going to be a stellar show. I had seen sneak peeks on social media of Madison rehearsing for the tour and I knew I was going to be in for a treat. Three silhouettes appeared on stage and the crowd went wild as Madison kicked off the night with “The Beginning” and quickly transitioned into “Baby.” The energy was amazing during this song as fans shouted out every word while feeding off her energy. Madison’s ability to keep the crowd engaged while dancing and singing at the same time showed off her unmatched showmanship.

Throughout the night, I found myself in awe of every little detail – from the visuals of the stage, to outfits (she had three different ones!), and to the choreography. The show was not just a live concert but a beautiful production and you could tell that Madison wanted it to be that way. My personal favorite moment was during “Selfish” where she serenaded us with the most stunning visuals of rain falling behind her. Her emotions could be felt as she hit every single note angelically.

The night concluded with “Everything Happens for a Reason.” Madison climbed the side ladder and right on cue, she struck a pose and confetti blasted out of both side cannons. Fans cheered and lifted their hands as the confetti fell above them for a few minutes. Smiles could be seen everywhere. Watching this moment from the balcony, it was truly magical and the type of moment I’ve missed from live shows the past year and a half. It was a 10/10 performance and production and if the chance arises, I highly encourage you to attend one of her future concerts.
