Music, Why Not!

Maggie Rogers @ 713 Music Hall – Houston, Tx

Maggie Rogers brought the Feral Joy Tour to Houston in support of her album “Surrender” and it was an unforgettable show.

The show started with opener Del Water Gap. Immediately they grasped the fans attention and have everyone singing along. They played songs such as “Sorry I Am”, “Perfume” and even covered Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated”. They did a great job at opening the show and hyped everyone up for the main act.

It was time for Maggie to perform. The lights went out and the big screen turned on – with various clips of Rogers playing through out. She came out on stage and opened the show with “Overdrive”. Immediately the fans started screaming in excitement and started singing a long with the singer. Throughout the set she switched between dancing and singing across the stage to taking things a little slower by playing her guitar. She played songs such as “Dog Years”, “Retrograde” mixed with “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” by Whitney Houston, to Alaska. During a moment in the show, she brought out Del Water Gap to perform with her as well. The show was incredible in every possible aspect. If she comes to a city near you please make sure to attend, you will not regret it.
