Mexican rock band Maná brought the “Mexico Lindo Y Querido” tour to Houston and it was a night to remember.

As soon as the band took the stage, the crowd erupted with cheers and applause. Immediately they started singing along in unison and getting ready for the show they were about to get. Lead singer Fher Olvera’s powerful vocals were spot-on, and the band’s talent showed through the set. The band played a mix of old and new songs, and as soon as songs like “Mariposa Traicionera”, “Labios Compartidos” and “Oye, Mi Amor” started playing, the venue was filled with cheers. Songs we all listened to growing up were being played in front of us, and I know it was a core memory for many. One of the coolest moments in the show was the instrumental part of the set. The guitarists and drummer each had their own moment to freestyle and show off their amazing talent. Fans were constantly cheering them on and were impressed at their skills.

During the second part of the show the band all went to the “B Stage” – catching everyone by surprise. Fher had a flashlight that he used to shine on fans and they all displayed their beautiful outfits, their family members and showed off the Mexico flags that were brought inside. The band performed a cover of “Se Me Olvidó Otra Vez” by icon Juan Gabriel and once again, the crowd sang at the top of their lungs – there was never a dull moment in the show. “Te lloré un río”, “El reloj cucú” and “Eres mi religión” were also played throughout the night.

Maná gave us an unforgettable concert. The energy and stage production were all top-tier, and the crowd’s enthusiasm and energy made it clear that the band has a special place in the hearts of many. It was a night to remember, for more information on upcoming shows click here
