Matt and Kim brought the house down at Monroe Live in Gran Rapids, Michigan on September 27. The due performed to a nearly sold out crowd and every second of their performance was spectacular. They had great lightning and amazing stage presence. It was so easy to spot how excited people were for the show because even moments before they got on stage they were dancing and singing.
Matt & Kim started off the night with “It’s All Right” a song from their first album Lightning. Then they went on to play songs like: “Tonight,” “Glad I Tried,” “Now,” and even did a cover of Van Halen’s song “Jump” which was so much fun. They played new and old songs like: “Can You Blame” and “Daylight.”
Not a single time during their performance were people not dancing and singing along to their tunes. Matt & Kim always know how to bring the energy level in a room and keep it high the entire duration of the concert. The vocals were incredible and the instrumentals were so loud and vibrant that you could literally feel the room move. I definitely recommend seeing them live next time they stop in your town. Their shows are a blast and their onstage presence is electrifying, it is contagious!
